Funerals

Helping people through a time of bereavement is fundamental to what our church is here for.  We are also willing to talk about any concerns you may have about death and about arranging/pre-arranging a funeral.   Please do contact us if you would like to talk.

For arranging funerals, the first port of call, in normal circumstances, would be to speak to a funeral director, and they would then be in contact with us. If you would prefer to speak to us first, then again please feel free to do so.

A funeral service can be held in church, at the local crematorium or cemetery, or at the graveside for a burial. Alternatively you may wish to have a smaller, quiet, family-only funeral followed (or preceded) by a memorial service. We can discuss all these options with you.

Please feel free to contact us at St Mark’s so we can help you, especially at this time of sadness.
